What actually happens at your first visit

Most anxiety about dentistry comes from not knowing the sequence. So here is the sequence, exactly as it runs in our clinic.

You arrive fifteen minutes early and complete a medical history form. This matters — blood thinners, diabetes and bisphosphonate medication all change how we plan treatment.

The first clinical step is a conversation, not an instrument. We ask what brought you in, what you have been told before, and what outcome you actually want.

Then comes the examination: teeth, gums, bite, jaw joints and a soft-tissue screening. If imaging is needed, a digital OPG or CBCT is taken in the same visit.

Finally we sit at the screen together and go through what we found, what your options are, what each costs and what happens if you do nothing. You leave with a written plan. Nothing is booked under pressure on the day.
